Detroit, Michigan – The erotic photography of Dirk Hooper will be among the artwork presented at Dirty Show 8. Toxic Goddess Dark Mistress and Toxic Goddess Aello appear in the work to be displayed. The Dirty Show has work by over 200 erotic artists from around the world and will run from February 9 through February 11 and February 14th at Bert’s Warehouse Theater.

Among other artists, Dirty Show 8 will feature the work of H.R. Giger, Spider Webb, J.K. Potter, Charles Gatewood and Dave Naz. “I’m honored to be included among such luminaries,” Dirk Hooper said, “Many of these artists are influences on my own work.” This is the second year that Dirk has had art in the show.

Dirk Hooper is a world renowned photographer, fine artist, graphic designer and writer whose work has been described as “forbidden tales to rival the likes of H.P. Lovecraft and the Marquis de Sade.” Dirk’s publishing credits include such diverse media as comic books, music CDs and slick fetish magazines. He has also cultivated a reputation as a fine artist in established venues like the prestigious Fred Jones Jr. Art Museum and as an underground visionary in galleries like the Electric Chair and the Dirty Show in Detroit.
